Below you will find the documentation for the planning applications asociated with the proposed growth of Towcester.
These documents are in PDF format, and you will need Adobe Acrobat Reader to view them. This is available free to download here if you do not have it on your computer.
We are currently updating these so that users of this site can find documents easily. Due to the size and complexity of the supporting documentation, we aim to have the full suite available shortly.

For the time being, we have posted the key plans below which we know will be of interest.Detailed reports and technical documents will be available soon on this website and are available now by contacting the relevant planning authority (please see below).

The applications
There are three applications associated with the growth plans at Towcester and it is important to understand that these are being handled by different planning authorities:
- Application A: This is the main application detailing the mixed-use new neighbourhood to the south of Towcester and east of the A43. It also includes the proposed new bypass. The decision-making body for this is the West Northamptonshire Development Corporation (WNDC).
- Application B: This is the application showing the grade separated junction which will link the new Towcester bypass to the A43. The part of this which is to the east of the A43 is being handled by WNDC.
- Application C: This deals with that part of the grade separated junction linking the bypass to the A43 which falls on the western side of the A43. This will be decided by South Northamptonshire Council (SNC).

Having your say
You are welcome to give your comments on the applications through this website. We will ensure that they are passed on to WNDC or SNC. Please note that comments on all applications need to be received by the relevant planning authority by 28th March, 2007.
Please check to make sure that you are sending your comments to the correct planning authority, as WNDC has no jurisdiction over Application C and SNC has no jurisdiction over Applications A & B.
On applications A and B, there is an option on WNDC's website to submit comments on line. Alternatively, you can email your comments to towcestervale@wndc.org.uk or send a letter to the offices of WNDC at the Planning Department, PO Box 622, Franklins Gardens, Northampton NN5 5WR.
