This website contains all the information about the emerging proposals for the growth of the important and historic market town of Towcester, Northamptonshire. It also gives you the opportunity to have your say.

Planning applications have now been submitted to the planning authorities and you can see see the relevant documents by clicking the Planning Documents tab above.

Public consultation on the masterplan for the south eastern expansion of Towcester began on 15th March 2007. Since that time there have been a number of community involvement activities which are described in this website. The draft masterplan  shown on the top right hand side of this page is the one which has now been submitted in the planning application.

A new bypass, additional educational facilities, extra employment, the location of housing, health provision, public open space and recreational facilities – these are just some of the key issues about which local residents and businesses can still have their say by making their views known to the planning authorities during the formal cosultation period.
